Wat is inbegrepen bij Stackhero voor Graylog?
We bieden OpenSearch, MongoDB, een e-mailserver (onbeperkt!) en een reverse proxy aan.
U hoeft geen andere service toe te voegen, Graylog is direct klaar voor gebruik.
Wat is de limiet van gelijktijdige verbindingen?
In tegenstelling tot traditionele cloudproviders, staat Stackhero onbeperkte gelijktijdige verbindingen toe!
De kracht van uw instantie is volledig aan u gewijd. U kunt zoveel verbindingen gebruiken als u wilt, zolang uw instantie ze kan verwerken.
Zijn sommige plugins inbegrepen?
We hebben officiële plugins van de Community Edition opgenomen, evenals de plugins
Slack/Mattermost en
Telegram Alert.
Indien nodig kunnen we mogelijk andere plugins toevoegen. U kunt contact met ons opnemen en wij zullen uw verzoek beoordelen.
Hoe lang worden de logs bewaard?
U kunt uw logs zo lang bewaren als u wilt.
Zolang de schijfruimte van uw instantie het toelaat, is er geen limiet!
Hoe wordt logretentie beheerd?
U kunt de retentie van uw logs met grote precisie configureren met behulp van de Graylog-interface.
U kunt bijvoorbeeld kiezen om de logs van de laatste 365 dagen te bewaren, de laatste 200 miljoen berichten te behouden, of de gebruikte ruimte te beperken tot 400GB.
Hoeveel logs kunnen er op een instance worden opgeslagen?
Graylog gebruikt een journal dat fungeert als buffer tussen het moment dat het de logs ontvangt en het moment dat ze worden opgeslagen in de OpenSearch-database.
Dit journal kan tot 7GB aan schijfruimte op uw instantie innemen.
Daarnaast hebben Graylog, MongoDB en OpenSearch schijfruimte nodig om normaal te functioneren.
Aangezien OpenSearch een beschermingsmechanisme heeft, schakelt de database automatisch over naar alleen-lezen als de schijf minder dan 7GB vrije ruimte heeft.
Daarom adviseren wij u om uw retentie zo te configureren dat er altijd 15GB vrije schijfruimte op uw instantie is om een goede werking te garanderen.
Is het mogelijk om verbinding te maken met de instantie via SSH?
Aangezien Stackhero beheerde diensten levert, is SSH-toegang niet beschikbaar. Voor installatiebehoeften kunt u contact opnemen met de ondersteuning om mogelijke oplossingen te verkennen.
Is it possible to restrict access based on IPs with a firewall?
Absolutely! Your instance has its own firewall where you can decide which IPs have access to which port in 2 clicks.
What cloud providers are used by Stackhero?
We created our own cloud software solution, making us completely independent from cloud providers. We deploy this innovative solution directly on bare-metal servers, providing you with incredible performance and stability.
Where is the data hosted?
Stackhero is a French company operating under European and French laws.
Servers are located, depending on your choice, either in the European Union (France) or in the USA.
Backups are stored in the European Union.
What is the software infrastructure?
Your service is composed of multiple subservices. All of them are running in containers, within a virtual machine, totally dedicated to you.
This VM is totally private and isolated from other clients, offering a highly secured environment with very high-performance.
It is hosted on a bare-metal server running Stackhero DC OS, our own Linux distribution.
What about disk performance?
We use disks physically plugged to your instances.
We don't use network disks, contrary to traditional cloud solutions, that are slow and expensive.
This way we ensure best performances and exceptional IOPS.
What is the atomic backup system?
The problem with traditional backup systems is that files are saved at different times interval.
Let's say you have 2 files, a.txt and b.txt. Your backup starts at 9am and it finishes at 10am.
The file a.txt will contain data from 9am and b.txt will contain data from 10am.
This is traditional in backups systems and is a big issue leading to consistency problems.
This is why we developed an in-house backup system that takes an atomic image of your instance at a precise moment.
Atomic in a way that we can guarantee that all files from the backup have been taken exactly at the same time.
If your backup starts at 9am, all files will have data from 9am. You have a perfect consistent and reliable backup.
Are backups encrypted?
Backups are first transmitted to a dedicated server, which verifies and validates the data. Once these checks have been approved, the backups are encrypted and archived.
Encryption uses ECDH and Curve25519 as part of the OpenPGP protocol, with a unique key generated for each backup.
How does billing work?
At the beginning of each month, our system computes how many hours your services were up and a detailed invoice is created.
You receive a single monthly invoice, containing all your services, clearly explained and easy to understand. Your accounting department will love that!
